Entry conditions

• All entries to be received by 9am, Wednesday, September 24th, 2008, addressed to Linda Thornton, Lowestoft & Waveney Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2008, Unit 29 Riverside Road, Lowestoft NR33 0TQ or by email to chiefofficer@waveneychamber.co.uk entitled AWARDS APPLICATION or go online at www.waveneychamber.co.uk/business_awards/vote/
• Entries should consist of 200 words (maximum) on the background of your company and a more in-depth piece of up to 500 words (maximum) explaining why your business should be considered for the category entered, taking into account the criteria specified on this website. Businesses may enter as many categories as they wish, but each entry must be on a separate entry form.
• The Chamber Business Awards are open to any business in Suffolk and the sub-region with Great Yarmouth.
• The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding awards made.
• The judging panel for each category will determine four shortlisted finalists (1 young and 1 established. The finalists will be notified by Friday, September 19, 2008. It is the judges’ discretion as to whether they wish to visit the finalists in their category. The judging process will be completed by Tuesday, September 30, 2008.
• The awards will be presented at the celebration dinner and awards ceremony on Thursday, November 20th, 2008, at
  The Wherry Hotel, Oulton Broad, Lowestoft.
• The judges reserve the right to withdraw any category if entries do not reach the required standard.
• Special offer for tables of 8. (PATRONS will receive 4 FREE tickets to the event to include 1 for each of the two finalists). Additional tickets may be purchased subject to availability at a cost of £30 + VAT per person.
• Relevant information collected by Lowestoft & Waveney Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with these awards, may be used by us exclusively to promote on our website and in any associated publicity.
• If entering by email or online, please remember to forward supporting material which cannot be sent electronically to the postal address detailed.
