Third crossing idea for Lowestoft EDP 01 November 2007
Ambitious development plans that could see a much sought-after third crossing built in Lowestoft in the space of two years have been tabled.
Norwich-based developer Peter Colby is aiming to gain support for his proposals, which he says would redevelop swathes of derelict waterfront land and help improve Lowestoft's road system. But he must persuade the 1st East urban regeneration company, which has a 15-year plan to regenerate Lowestoft, to back his plans and this did not appear to be forthcoming last night.
