TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF QUAY LANE, REYDON
From 3 September for an initial period of 5 days Quay Lane, Reydon will be closed to motor vehicles to enable works to be carried out.
The diversion route will be via the A1095 Halesworth Road, Mardle Road and B1126 Wangford Road.
It is intended that the closure will operate until 14 September and an order will be made to cover the further period.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U1610 FROSTENDEN BOTTOM, FROSTENDEN AND WRENTHAM
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U1610 Frostenden Bottom, Frostenden and Wrentham between the A12 and Gipsy Lane to enable culvert strengthening works. Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be via the A12, B1127 Southwold Road, U1612 Gipsy Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 27 September to 17 October 2010, but if necessary the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF C936 CROMWELL ROAD, BECCLES
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C936 Cromwell Road, Beccles, at the level crossing to allow track inspection works to be carried out. Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians although there may be some delays at times due to the nature of the works and for safety reasons.
The diversion route will be via the A145 London Road, U1301 Kings Lane, C938 Redisham Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 9pm on Wednesday 15 September until 6am on Thursday 16 September 2010, but if necessary the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF U1220 SOUTHEND ROAD, BUNGAY
From 20 August until 27 August, the U1220 Southend Road, Bungay, at its junction with the A144 St John’s Road will be closed to motor vehicles to enable National Grid Gas mains disconnection works to be carried out.
The diversion route will be the via Southend Road, B1435 Flixton Road, Bardoph Road, A144 St Johns Road and vice versa

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF A1117 BLOODMOOR ROAD, LOWESTOFT
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the A1117 Bloodmoor Road, Lowestoft (northbound carriageway only) between the Stradbroke Road and Long road roundabouts to allow carriageway works to take place. Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be via the A12 Tom Crisp Way and Long Road.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 4pm on Sunday 5 September to 6am on Monday 6 September 2010, but if necessary the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C233 BRUISYARD ROAD, CRANSFORD
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C233 Bruisyard Road, Cransford from Lodge Road to Lodge Cottages to enable British Telecom Openreach overhead works. Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be via the U2511 Rendham Road/Bruisyard Road, B1119 Low Road, U2530 Lodge Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 13 to 24 September 2010 (9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily), but if necessary the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF FOOTPATH 9 (PART), RIVER LANE,
HALESWORTH
From today’s date for an initial period of 21 days, Footpath 9 (part), River Lane, Halesworth at the Old Maltings footbridge will be closed to footpath traffic for safety reasons, as the structure is unsafe.
The diversion route will be the path running north between the watercourses and across the footbridge to Town Park then back down The Thoroughfare.
