Lowestoft College is experiencing an unprecedented demand for apprenticeships from our local young people. We as a college cannot meet this demand without the cooperation of our local employers. All it would take would be for each member of the Lowestoft and Waveney Chamber of Commerce to offer one young person the opportunity to do an apprenticeship with them and it would change both their lives. The hardest thing to commit to during a recession and economic uncertainty is training and development, however if we are to raise the aspiration of our youth and make Lowestoft economically successful we all need to invest in the future.
